ADHD and AuDHD coaching for neurodivergent mums
Sometimes life feels like a swirl of tabs open in your brain — too many ideas, too many demands, and not enough energy to sort them all out. Coaching offers a calm, structured space to turn that chaos into clarity.

ADHD and AuADHD coaching is all about building momentum your way — not by fixing you, but by helping you work with your unique brain. It’s like having a personal trainer for your mind: someone who helps you strengthen focus, balance energy, and build systems that actually fit how you think, feel, and function.

In coaching we will work together to:
-
Understand what’s feeling hard right now, in the context of your life and neurotype.
-
Clarify what you want to move towards — and why it truly matters to you.
-
Identify strengths you already have (yes, they’re there!) and turn them into practical strategies.
-
Build a mindset, skillset, and toolkit that supports growth without burnout.
-
Keep you on track through gentle accountability and adjustments that honour your energy.
Many neurodivergent mums come to coaching because they feel stuck, scattered, or stretched too thin.
You might have tried every planner or life hack out there and still feel like nothing sticks — or maybe you’re overwhelmed by all the options and just need someone to help you focus on what actually works for you.
Whatever brought you here, you’re in the right place. You don’t need to figure it all out alone.

Coaching isn’t about pushing harder — it’s about finding the path of least resistance to get you where you need to be. The investment is less about time or money and more about reclaiming your energy, focus, and confidence. Think of it as outsourcing the overwhelm so you can start living the changes you’ve been craving.

AuADHD/ADHD Online Coaching

When we discover our neurodiversity, suddenly our lives make sense. It becomes clear why some things come easily and other things are harder. ADHD/AuADHD coaching is a game changing solution to make the hard parts of our neurodiversity easier so you can enjoy more of the amazing strengths that come with it.
For me, AuADHD/ADHD coaching for clients is really personal and needs to be tailored to you as an individual. There are commonalities in how our brains work, however we are all different with unique lives, experience, knowledge, skills, needs and desires. When working with an AuDHD/ADHD coach it is really important that they see the whole you.

I love working online with my AuADHD/ADHD clients as you can take me with you and show me the challenges you are experiencing. In this model, we can try out strategies in real time, see how they work for you and build task momentum. Many clients like to leave an hour or two free after sessions so they can keep going on the work we have started as neurodiverse brains usually like thinking in tunnels, not in tasks. Once momentum is rolling - we can be unstoppable.

Session content changes based on your unique situation and needs. Common topics include:
-
Getting clear on your strengths as well as challenges gaining insight into the toughest parts of the day
-
Understanding the environments you are in and how these might be impacting your sensory needs
-
Learning and practically applying strategies to support your challenges, whether that be time dysphoria, prioritisation, motivation, pacing, task management, people pleasing, managing overwhelm or impulsivity
-
Crafting a positive self identity that embraces your neurodiversity and self-compassion
-
Embedding strategies in your day to day life.

In working with clients I bring a range of tools from different neurodiversity courses (see the up to date list here) as well as my corporate career covering Lean Six Sigma Process Efficiency, Agile Ways of Working and Project Management for a range of solutions that traverse both our personal lives and careers.

Online sessions run for 50 minutes and are $150 (ex GST) with the remaining 10 minutes of session time used for administration such as note taking, sharing clear next steps and homework exercises in visual, accessible forms. This is part of the way I work with clients to share the executive functioning load and set you up for success. As each client is different, I don't offer set packages and it means you can stop at any time you like.

To try before you buy, I encourage all my clients to take advantage of a free 15 minute discovery call and try out the online experience or to send questions through via email, if this is more comfortable for you.
benefits of online coaching for mums
Online therapy is not for everyone and that is OK. But before you click close, know not all online experiences are created equal. I used to offer both online and in person but changed to online due to overwhelming client feedback.
I now specialise in online therapy only. It is not a second rate experience at Mumshine, I focus all my efforts on making it better than being there in person.
Clients love online , because:
-
Sessions are easier to fit into the day and can even be done on lunch break when WFH.
-
Clients are in their own sensory environment, making it easier to relax and regulate.
-
Clients love having pets with them and patting them during sessions.
-
There is less executive functioning load and time/planning pressure with no commute.
-
No busy waiting rooms and crowds which can feel overwhelming, especially when we are vulnerable.
-
You can move your body in session and walk around your house or garden if you like.
-
Online boards allow space for sharing information and a place for clients to draw.
-
Clients can type rather than talk to express themselves as they like.
-
You can share your world with me, if you choose to.
Want to test out the online experience and see how it works for you? Book a free, 15 minute discovery call now with no obligations to try it out for yourself.
neuroaffirming coaching for mothers
As a neuro-affirming therapist, I see you as a whole person, whether you are neurotypical or neurodiverse. It is about recognising that all our brains work differently, not better or worse. There is no 'one way' or 'right; way to conduct therapy and I love tailoring my approach to support different needs of my clients. In the initial session we spend time understanding you - your preferences, how your brain works best and things which are more tricky for you and then build a plan that works with your brain, not against it.
I know and have seen a lot of claims out there from people claiming to be neuroaffirming and I think it is important that we talk about how we are neuroaffirming in the work we do. Some specific principles I have embedded into my practice are:
-
All communication forms as valid and I love using alternative ways to communicate with clients (including visual images, songs and writing) in session.
-
There is no 'one way' to learn. In addition to explaining terms with words, I use and share a range of visual tools (like videos or mind maps), demonstrate exercises, and encourage clients to 'do' not just listen. Clients are encouraged to take notes as they like and even take videos of the exercises we do.
-
Easy bookings and reminders - You can book directly without needing to speak with someone and be 'screened', the intake form and payment are done at booking (less things to remember) and I will send you reminders by phone and email with easy options to reschedule or cancel for those times life gets in the way.
-
Trauma is not a dirty word. We have all experienced trauma (some big T and some little t) so I practice trauma informed therapy to ensure therapy is sensitive to your experience.
-
Focus on strengths - I work with you to focus on identifying and building on your strengths, rather than on weaknesses and adjust therapy to build on these.
-
You are capable and need to make your own care decisions. My job is to walk alongside you, to listen without judgement, to help you identify goals and support you in achieving them. I will not tell you what to do or think I know you best.
-
I see neurodiversity as a natural part of the human experience all people and brains are different. Neurodiverse people do not need to be fixed, it is about having strategies, environments and support to help you to manage the difficult parts and making the most of the amazing strengths this brain type gives you.
