After the Diagnosis
Making Sense of Our Thoughts & Fears

“Am I behind?”
“Am I bad parent?”
“What now?”

After a diagnosis, these questions don’t simply disappear.

This educational webinar explores common emotional responses following a diagnosis and how to start making sense of them.

After Diagnosis We Can Feel Like:

We are behind

Living in a storm of "should haves" and "need to" fuelled by fear & frustration.

We are Bad Parents

Because "good" parents wouldn't think, feel, wish or want....

We are alone

Because other people don't get it & constant advocacy is exhausting....

Rather than try to suppress these worries, or distract ourselves from them - this webinar gives them space.

Together we can shine a light on them and open the door to seeing what else might be true - with acceptance and compassion.

In This Free 40 Minute Webinar, We’ll Explore:

  • Some of the common thoughts and feelings after diagnosis
(that we sometimes don't want to say aloud):

    • Feeling like a bad parent.

  • We look at why feelings feel bigger after diagnosis

Freya believes neurodivergence is a natural part of human diversity, not something to be fixed or hidden. She understands that being a mum can be hard, and complex and that bad days or difficult thoughts are not a personal failing. They are part of the human experience.

Freya is a registered, tertiary-qualified counsellor whose work is deeply shaped by her passion for neuroaffirming practice. She has dedicated thousands of hours to learning about neurodivergence and continuously expands her knowledge and skills.

Alongside Mumshine, Freya co-created Neurospice & Life — a neuroaffirming platform and podcast centred on reflecting, reframing and reclaiming neurodivergent experiences www.neurospiceandlife.com
