Mumshine

About Mumshine

Support for neurodivergent mums who are exhausted from holding everything together for everyone else.

Because you were never meant to carry this alone.

Why Mumshine Exists

Support to meet you where you are at

Mumshine exists because so many neurodivergent mums are doing life on hard-mode — carrying the emotional load, managing everyone’s needs, masking, unmasking, burning out, and still trying to hold everything together.

You don’t just need someone to talk to.

You need support in your real life — community, understanding, practical strategies, and spaces where you don’t have to perform or explain your wiring.

Mumshine is a place for neurodivergent mums to connect, learn, rest, and rebuild with others who get it.

What makes Mumshine different

Mumshine isn’t about fixing you.
It’s about creating support that fits your wiring, your nervous system, and your real life.

That means:

Gentle pacing instead of overwhelm.

Compassion instead of criticism.

Practical shifts instead of perfection goals.

Community instead of isolation

Everything here is designed to be doable, neuroaffirming, and kind to your energy.

How Support Is Held Here

Support at Mumshine grows through connection, learning, and shared experience.

Some people join groups, some explore self-guided tools, some prefer individual counselling and coaching - but the heart is always the same:

A space where you don’t have to explain your existence before you’re allowed to belong.

You are welcome to show up as you are.

About Freya -

The Neurodivergent Brain Behind Mumshine

A pictire of Freya Corboy, founder of Mumshine. She is smiling, wearing glasses and a blush coloured dress standing in front of an Aboriginal painting..

Freya believes neurodivergence is a natural part of human diversity, not something to be fixed or hidden. She understands that hard days are not personal failings, but signs that a person’s environment isn’t supporting their needs.

Freya is a registered, tertiary-qualified counsellor whose work is deeply shaped by her passion for neuroaffirming practice. She has dedicated thousands of hours to learning about neurodivergence and continuously expands her knowledge and skills.

Alongside Mumshine, Freya co-created Neurospice & Life — a neuroaffirming platform and podcast centred on reflecting, reframing and reclaiming neurodivergent experiences www.neurospiceandlife.com

AuADHDing Mum of 3

"I did not realise how much I was masking and how much effort it was taking out of me to hold it in place... I finally feel like I am living the life I was meant to. It feels different. I feel different"

OCD/ADHDing Mum of 2

"When I understood the why behind what was happening for me, I felt empowered to carve out a new way forward".
