A gentle and supportive space to rebuild capacity.
You’re not failing.
You’re burnt out — and it's OK to need support.

everything feels too much
tiny tasks = huge effort
emotions spike… or shut down
rest doesn’t feel like rest
decision-making feels impossible
masking + coping are exhausting
If you’re quietly nodding - you’re not alone.
You deserve support that understands.
(keep reading if you want more detail)
A space where you you feel. . .
Safe
because your nervous system needs grounding - not pressure
Seen
because you deserve understanding, not minimising or fixing
Supported
because change is easier when you don’t have to carry it alone
Steady
because small steps restore confidence and capacity over time
This is not a space where you have to push or prove yourself
- it's a place where we take small steps together.
The structure is simple and predictable, so you always know what to expect.

We support different forms of communication.

No pressure, no shame.
If something in you feels ready for change - even just a tiny spark - join the waitlist.
We’ll connect personally, answer questions, and make sure the timing and support are right for you.
Maybe things don’t have to be this hard forever.
Maybe there is a way to feel supported instead of pushing through alone.
With the right care and neuroaffirming support, many mums begin to experience:
steadier energy - without forcing productivity
calmer nervous system - without suppressing who they are
clearer thinking - because the load isn’t carried alone
a sense of self returning - piece by piece
You don’t have to force anything.
You don’t have to do it alone.
This program is a space to rebuild capacity - supported, authentically and at your own pace.
You don't have to decide today.
If you’re curious about whether this could help, you’re welcome to explore the next step to learn more.
Clarity helps our nervous systems feel safer — so here’s a clear picture of what you can expect
Simple - because your brain doesn’t need more to remember.
Predictable - because knowing what to expect makes change safer.
Flexible - because some weeks our cups are empty.
Neuroaffirming - because support should work with our brains.
Practical - because tools only help when they work in real life.
Regulating - because your nervous system needs a break.
Guided - because you shouldn’t have to figure things out alone.
Validating - because your experiences are valid & deserve kindness.
Supported - because recovery is easier when the load is shared.
Sustainable - because progress comes from small steps that stick.
Repeatable - because capacity keeps growing.
Overwhelming - because recovery shouldn’t feel like another demand.
Pressured - you choose how and when to participate.
Rigid - because we each move at our own pace.
Judgemental - because there is no “right way” to heal.
Fix-oriented - because you are not a problem to correct.
Productivity-driven - because this isn’t about doing more.
Jargon heavy - because clear words matter.
Performance-based - because you don’t need another place to mask, impress, or explain.
Time-limited - because as capacity and momentum grow, the tools need to grow with you.
Joining the waitlist is the next step towards support.
You won’t be trapped or pressured.
After the first group session, if you feel the program isn’t right for you, you’re welcome to let me know within 24 hours and I’ll refund your enrolment (less the cost of that session). No guilt. No awkward conversations. Just honesty and care — for both of us.
This is about supporting your nervous system, not pushing you to stay in something that doesn’t feel right.
That’s exactly who this program is designed for.
There’s no falling behind, no tracking, no “catch-up guilt.” You can listen quietly, keep your camera off, and take in what you’re able to - your presence is enough. Every tool is repeatable and available to revisit when capacity returns.
Your worth here is not measured by productivity or participation and sometimes just being alongside others helps.
You can’t! There is no pace or pressure. There are no tests or exams.
Whilst there are weekly themes - all content unlocks at the same time so you can move forward, pause or head back at your own place. If you have a burst of hyper-fixation, go with it. If you need to pause, that is OK too.
For each call, we will start off with the theme for the week - but you can ask questions about anything and share experiences (if you like) for where you are at. I won't hold you to a set topic. And during body doubling time, you choose what you want to work on. If your hardest thing is reducing demands and you want to spend 6 weeks working on that - you can!
Sessions are held at 10am AWST on Wednesdays (1pm AEDST, 12pm AEST) with the March cohort starting on 25th March 2026.
To support attendance, I can provide an attendance letter to share with employers to support time off or workplace flexibility. Whilst it is not a medical certificate, many employers take this to heart.
Yes. The group is limited to 10 places only as it is a theraputic space (not a coaching space where groups can have 20 attendees or more). Once the cohort begins, nobody else can join so you get to connect meaningfully with other members.
The group is big enough that you feel connected and not alone. It is small enough that you still get individual attention.
It is also important to remember that in addition to group sessions, there is also the chat that provides an additional space to ask questions and seek support.
I get it - group spaces can be tricky if they are not well managed. For many people attending this is their first time in a group of other neurodivergent people and it feels different and I run it differently. Neurotypical social and communication norms - do not apply here.
You will never be pushed to share, speak, or turn your camera on. You can move, stim, lie on the floor, sit in the dark or join while exercising. You do what feels right for your body.
Spoken words are only one form of communication. We use chats, GIFs, pictures, memes, drawings and hand signals to communicate and express ourselves in the easiest way possible. We use AI to lighten the communication load (if we want) and for many listening quietly feels best.
In our first group we will craft some group guidelines on how we will treat each other, and ourselves, so there are guardrails we all agree on. You set the pace — I protect the safety.
If this still does not feel comfortable for you, that is OK as well. Hit join the waitlist and let me know in the comments and when we connect, I can talk to you about an individual support option (same program but with individual support instead).
I hear you and that is OK.
I do offer an alternative program, where you get access to the same course but with individual (private sessions and chats). Sessions are shorter as we do not have a group discussion and you can decide how much time is spent working on topics versus body doubling. As the individual program is more personalised, it has a slightly higher price of $2,900.
If you think this is a better fit. Press join the waitlist below - let me know in the comments and we can check availability for you.
You’re not starting from scratch - you’re starting from experience.
This program isn’t about willpower, positivity, or pushing yourself into change. It’s grounded in nervous-system safety, pacing, and practical support for real-life demands, especially for neurodivergent brains.
It’s okay to arrive sceptical. You don’t have to “believe” for it to be supportive.
Tears, shutdowns, awkward pauses, going blank — all of that is welcome here.
You won’t be spotlighted or rushed through feelings. You can take space, mute, or step away if needed. I hold the container so the room remains steady and safe.
This is not a coaching space, it is a therapeutic space facilitated by a mental health professional. Not a coach. I am trained to support you with these feelings and help you work through them.
You’re not just allowed to be human here - you are supported in being human too.
The truth is - we will never know until we try. The best thing to do is try and take it one day at a time or follow the hyperfixation where it takes you.
Remember, you can try it risk free. If you buy the course and it does not work for you- just email me in the first 30 days and let me know and I will issue you a refund (no questions asked) in line with our service agreement. Worrying about.
If you still aren't sure, that's OK. There are some other great tools and resources on overwhelm in our store and You Tube channel to get more of a feel for how simple the course is.
Of course. You are welcome here.
Did you know most neurodivergent people are undiagnosed? It is emotionally draining, time consuming and expensive. You do not need a diagnosis to know who you are,
My job is to believe and support you.
You won’t be dropped or left on your own. I have built the program in the two phases to gently reduce scaffolding and support so you have confidence to keep momentum going as you build a real-world rhythm.
After the sustaining phase you still have access to the resources to keep momentum going. If you find life changes and you need some additional support, you can always join another group (it is cheaper as you don't have to pay for the course component again) or you can also reach out for some one on one sessions if you prefer.
Burnout recovery isn’t linear, we all take a step back from time to time. It is not failure, it is life.
I love the conviction you have and knowing yourself.
I am available all year round to support mums one on one. If you select join the waitlist and let me know in the comments, we can arrange some bridging sessions or look at an individual program alternative.
If you are in crisis - please call lifeline on 13 11 14 or 000 as Mumshine is not a crisis service - and when you are feeling safe and steady, we can start.
That’s absolutely fine.
This program can sit gently alongside individual therapy. If helpful, I can provide a short summary of the program themes so your therapist can integrate the work into your existing support.
You’re not replacing care - you’re adding a different form of support.
The chat is held on what's app where messages are encrypted and where chats can be muted (so you don't get alert sounds, breaking your attention). It is simple to use and as a question arises you can post a message or a short audio or video recording for Freya and other members to respond to.
This means you don't need to remember to ask something next session and you also have the ability to communicate in a way that is comfortable for you.
The chat is responsive but not real time. Freya will do her best to respond to messages which are flagged for her within one business day. Typically she will respond in the same manner you posted in to honour your communication preference.
At the end of the program, Freya will designate all members as admins and remove herself from the chat. If you wish to remain connected to the group, you can remain. If you wish to leave you can remove yourself from the group.
If you do not want to be part of a group chat, let Freya know and she will leave you off - no questions asked.
A a licenced counsellor within Australia, I am only able to offer counselling support to mums that live here.
If you are outside Australia, drop me an email at hello@mumshine.com.au. I am able to offer you the guided course component to get access to the tools and resources if you like.
For the group to be effective (and not awkward) the group needs a minimum of 5 participants.
If for whatever reason, you secure a space and enough participants have not joined a week before the scheduled start date, you will have the choice to:
1. Stay enrolled for a deferred start date (likely one month delay)
2. Choose to undertake the program as an individual at the same price (a saving of $500)
3. Get a refund.

It is time. I want to take the next step.
Hi, I’m Freya — the neurodivergent brain and heart behind Mumshine. I created the Burnout Recovery Program because I have been to burnout and back and support mums each day to find a way back to themselves.
I wanted to make a space which brought together connection, emotional and practical support. A space where you can drop the mask and make progress - without burning through precious energy you don't have.
As a counsellor, coach, AuDHDer, mum, wife, and fur-parent (in no particular order!), I’m passionate about helping mums navigate neurodivergence with compassion, clarity, and ease. Mumshine is where I bring together the tools, warmth, and real-life honesty I wish I’d had along the way.

I create mumshine services with love and using proven strategies that have worked for me and my clients - so you get support that is both personal and practical.
All Mumshine content is lovingly created and remains © Mumshine Pty Ltd 2025. You’re welcome to use these ideas for your own personal growth and reflection, but please don’t copy, share, or reproduce them without permission. Thank you for honouring the care and work that goes into this space.
This program and its resources offer education, emotional support, and therapeutic guidance - but they are not a crisis service and they don’t replace individual medical, psychiatric, or emergency care. If you’re feeling unsafe, at risk, or in urgent distress, please reach out to your local emergency services (000) or a crisis support line straight away (like Lifeline 13 11 14). You deserve immediate care and support.
